Job Description:
The Guild Operations Specialist screens resumes and assesses candidates who apply to work through the Guild. They must have a keen eye for talent and be able to accurately assess skills, experience, and character. They match Guild candidates with client requisitions and explain their recommendations. They establish fair pay and bill rates. They set up interviews and take care of all communication and paperwork required to place a candidate on contract. They mentor and support placed contractors to enhance their success and impact.
Responsibilities:
Screen resumes of applicants and select candidates to interview
Interview and assess candidates based on client job requisitions
Introduce the best candidates to clients and set up interviews
Complete all paperwork and communications necessary to finalize placements
Mentor and support candidates on contract to increase impact and longevity
Market available candidates to potential employers who fit their profiles
Attend/Lead Guild info and Q&A meetings to meet and educate applicants
Post jobs on Slack and LinkedIn when seeking additional candidates
Qualifications:
Experience or familiarity with UX research, design, operations, and data analysis
Experience with interviewing, matching talent with requisitions, and hiring
Self-motivated, organized, diligent, honest, and supportive
Desire to help candidates find work and expand the Guild community
Familiarity with Google Sheets and Docs, Gmail, LinkedIn, Slack, and Zoom
Technical expertise to solve problems and learn new tools and platforms as necessary
KPIs: quality of candidates, placements, and timeliness
Compensation:
$20/hr. for up to 40 hours per month plus, a percentage of profits from successful placements

The Guild is a remote-working organization composed of independent contractors. As an independent contractor, you set your own schedule and are free to work other jobs alongside your role with the Guild as long as you meet your responsibilities. Our team members work part-time, and our positions are 100% remote. Team members are not employees, do not receive a salary, health insurance, or other benefits, and do not have taxes withheld. Your compensation can be supplemented by profit generated from research, insights, or design managers you invite to the Guild.
